Trevor Zadro-Jones
Lead Singer / Rhythm Guitarist
Paint Job's charismatic frontman is Trevor Zadro-Jones. His musical journey began when he started drum lessons at the age of 5. His attention quickly turned to performance after he enrolled in drama and dance lessons. Trevor's love of performing on stage began.
Trevor's family moved to the Blue Mountains in 2009. Leaving the drums behind, Trevor took up folk guitar tutoring with well-known folk performer Nigel Foote. At the age of 13, Trevor experienced a decline in health and needed life-changing surgery to reconstruct his chest. Pre-surgery, Trevor took up singing lessons to increase his lung capacity. He enrolled in classes with highly regarded Australian musician Tracey Yarad and well-known singer/tutor Matt Tonks.
During this time, Trevor's first band, "Blumesday", was formed and played their first gig to help raise funds for Trevor's surgery. After a gruelling six months of recovery, Trevor found himself back on stage performing with Blumesday locally and in Sydney. From that point onwards, life has been all about music for Trevor.
His natural gift and love for songwriting became a means to process the challenges with his health and still support his life today.
The tall, slender figure with smooth vocals writes crowd-pleasing songs with thoughtful lyrics and riffs that get audiences stomping. Influenced by many bands such as The Cure, Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, INXS and Kaleo, Trevor is not one to mess around with when it comes to rock.
Trevor finished school at the end of year 11 after being accepted to JMC Academy. Having completed a Diploma in Musical Performance, Trevor is now completing a Bachelor of Music with a Specialisation in Songwriting.
When the man catches some free time, he loves nothing more than going out with his mates, watching movies, and listening to music with his pug Barry by his side.
Samuel de Lima Garcia
Lead Guitar
Samuel de Lima Garcia is the band's prodigy child. He was introduced to music as an infant within the setting of a multicultural family, setting the scene for a fond love for many musical and cultural styles.
Born in the Blue Mountains, he first picked up a guitar at 5 years of age and now has 12 years of experience with the instrument. His yearning to grow and learn musically is persistent.
He is particularly keen when it comes to the banquet of metal music available. While Metallica, Trivium, Sepultura, Krisiun were Sam's original inspiration, maturity has drawn him to fall in love with classical music maestro Beethoven, Jazz legend Miles Davis and Rock guitarist Eddie Van Halen.
Sams diverse listening interest leads him to experiment with various techniques within his guitar journey, stimulating an interest in sounds and the production side of music. This has prompted Sam to understand the recording process profoundly and independently. Resulting in an array of original ambient and metal music being created, which is then produced and recorded using equipment at home. A selection of Sam's music has been released through several streaming services to great success.
Currently enrolled in his last year of school, Samuel has plans to further his musical journey at university. He spends his quieter days going for long walks along many of the local trails in the Blue Mountains and loves a big bowl of perfect pasta at the end of the day. However, for Sam, nothing beats having time to sit down and write the perfect piece of music.

Peter Simpson
Bass Player
Peter Simpson is a skilled bass player with a humble nature who found his passion for the Bass Guitar during High School in the Blue Mountains. He remarkably is a self-taught musician with multiple instrumental talents up his sleeve; his repertoire also includes guitar and piano. However, it is the Bass Guitar that resonates with him most.
What started as a lack of available bass guitar players at school grew into a strong relationship with the smooth sounding instrument. Peter will tell you, "This instrument has changed his life." Proudly with his bass by his side, Peter is constantly experimenting with new ways to play bass lines and melodies.
Peter has successfully graduated from university at JMC Academy Sydney with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance. Through his education, Peter has become an expert in writing and recording music working in these areas at every opportunity.
Peters musical style draws influence from Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, Gorillaz, and Led Zeppelin.
Don't let Peter laid back "come-as-you-are" vibe fool you. His quick fingers walk up and down the fret with precision with perfect timing at every show. Add his humble, shy personality with his contagious laugh; Peter is a surprise package indeed.
When Peter is not at band practice, you can find him hanging out with friends, sipping a caramel frappe or dreaming about a holiday by the beach with a pizza slice in hand.
